Romanian motorcycle trip – 5 days of adventure and memories 🏍️

I went on a 5-day motorcycle trip through Romania with my cousin, just the two of us.

We covered around 2000 km in total, we did get caught in the rain once, but most of the time the weather was perfect.

Yes, we saw bears too, they were adorable, but no, I didn't get too close, even though it would've made a great story 😄

The roads were absolutely fantastic. Transfăgărășan was breathtaking, riding up those mountain curves and then descending with the whole valley below was an unforgettable feeling.

Especially going downhill when you realize there's just a small patch of grass between you and the drop, pure adrenaline! 😄

We also visited Bicaz Gorge, Bear Lake and the Killer Lake, all amazing places that left lasting memories.

Transalpina was another highlight, a dream route for any motorcyclist: smooth roads, perfect turns and incredible scenery all around.

On the way home, we had a funny but exhausting adventure: the GPS took us through four villages where they had removed all the asphalt, and we had to ride on fresh yellow sand. The wheels were half buried, and sometimes even the brakes touched the ground 😅

It was super tiring, my shoulders nearly gave up, but looking back we can't help but laugh, because those are the memories that stay with you.
